About Me

I'm a 23 year old photographer, a graduate of Dallas Baptist University, and I get bored probably a little too easily. During my four years of college, I went to Europe several times on family vacation, Russia twice for mission trips, and spent a month in Korea teaching English. However, I never got the chance to study abroad like I wanted to, so a few months after I moved off DBU's campus, I flew off to Italy to be an au pair for three months.

That's where the adventure started.

I fell in love with Italy. I learned that kids are a blast. And I learned that I'm absolutely obsessed with new adventures and new experiences.

So now I can't stop. Seeing a little piece of the world showed me that there is so much more out there than just my own small life, and I want to be a part of it. I love cultures, languages, different customs, and intriguing people. The more I learn about other people and places, the more I learn about myself and who I am.

And the journey has just begun.

I just finished serving as an intern in Southern Spain for a Christian program called G42 Leadership Academy, where I learned about who God created me to be, what I want to do with my life, and had a chance to figure out what I can offer to this big huge world. That led me back to where my heart is... Italy.

I'm now currently au pairing for the third time, this time in Florence, Italy, for the next few months as I have the chance to study the Italian language and become more familiar with the culture and people that I love so much.

Come join me on the journey. Sometimes it's rough... and it definitely gets messy... but it's an incredible and beautiful ride. I don't always know where I'll end up, but I've learned to embrace the adventure and take some risks along the way.

After all, how are you ever going to get anywhere if you're not willing to take a risk and dive in??
